His talk about the new NADCA Standard 2013 for Assessment, Cleaning and Restoration of HVAC Systems was very well received by all in attendance. The president of ASHRAE International, Tom Phoenix, also spoke at the conference. Tom discussed his 54,000 member HVAC trade association and emphasized the importance of People, Passion, and Performance.
About the ASHRAE Boston Tech Session
The Tech Session covered the new NADCA Standard 2013 for Assessment, Cleaning and Restoration of HVAC Systems. This topic helped to bring ASHRAE members up to date with the recent advancements in duct cleaning including how NADCA defines the minimum performance and procedural requirements for the assessment, cleaning and restoration of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The talk touched on methods for verification and determining the practical need for system cleaning.
